WhatsApp, the most popular personal messaging app, has released a new update for its Windows Phone users.
Version 2.16.300 has brought a new feature to all users, video to gif support and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.
Once you select a video to send to, you will quickly notice a toggle button at the top-right corner of the screen, which lets you create a gif from the video. Please not the button only activates/is visible, when you try to trim a video by moving the slider.
The update was also rumored to bring two step verification, storage information, but at-least for me it was not there. But, we can expect the features coming in the next update.
Till then, update the app and enjoy!
