A new report from China sort of confirms what we have reported all along. HMD Global is working on two high-end Nokia Flagships and also on two variants of Nokia D1C, we have reported exclusively. Now, as per this report from Chinese publication DigiTimes, HMD is indeed working on Four Nokia Android smartphones. The report also claims launch of these smartphones in Q2 and Q3 of 2017. LG may be one of the suppliers for display of new Nokia Phones.

Finland-based HMD Global is expected to announce its first Nokia-branded smartphones in February 2017 at Mobile World Congress (MWC), and has been cooperating with supply chain makers in Taiwan to develop four more models for launch in the second and third quarters of 2017, according to industry sources.

The four new models will have display sizes ranging from 5.0-5.7-inch at WQHD or Full HD resolutions, said the sources, adding that panel suppliers will include LG Display, Century Technology (CTC) and Innolux, and that FIH Mobile will serve as production partner.

Nokia D1 (Nokia D1C) and Nokia E1 may be the first ever Nokia Android Phones to come from HMD. These two smartphones will target the low and mid price segment of smartphone market and may be unveiled at MWC 2017. Recently we have seen Nokia E1 name emerging in leaks after Nokia D1C featuring in various leaks earlier. As stated earlier, we can expect two Flagship Nokia Android smartphones too.

We exclusively reported about two variants of Nokia D1C and their detailed specifications and we shared the tip about probable pricing too.
