UC Browser has rolled out a new update to its private beta which brings some much needed functionality improvements and the biggest one being the support for exporting downloads to the SD Card.
Once exported, downloads are stored in the /UCDownload folder in the SD card. Hence can be easily accessed via a PC.
That’s not all. There are some other improvements as well, such as a better menu layout, bluetooth + QR sharing and more. Here’s the list:
- SD Card Support – Save your downloaded files to SD Card or Picture Folder for better file management.
- Bluetooth File Sharing – You can now conveniently share downloaded files to others through Bluetooth or QR Code.
- Photos Uploading to Facebook – Enjoy sharing your photos with your friends on Facebook via UC Browser.
- Menu Optimization – A brand new Menu that’s easier to use and gives a better browsing experience.
- General Improvements:
Optimization for more fonts on WP 8;
Improved bookmarks;
Bing search bug fixed.
The features from the Beta will be transferred to the main version quickly when the feedback is received and any remaining bugs are fixed.
My thanks to UC Team for enrolling me into the beta 🙂
