MS’ Joe Belfiore has tweeted above image on Twitter while he was trying to show off his new pinned tile for new app “AtBat”. Now, it seems some eagle-eyed readers noticed the fact that the top status bar is nothing similar to what WP8 status bar looks like. Check the comparison below. As you can see the status bar look, icons position and even how the tiles are arranged with respect to status bar in the screenshot posted by Joe all are different from a typical Lumia WP8 device screenshot.
So, are we looking at GDR3 or WP8.1 aka Blue. As per we know, GDR3 is not going to bring any change in the way home screen will look other than ability to fit extra row of mid-size tiles. So, may be we are looking at early WP8.1 screenshot.
