Microsoft has sent numerous reminders about the retirement of Nokia Mail and chances are that all active users have already migrated to other services. However when the mail accounts stopped working around 10-12th of March, I received many comments and emails from users who were then not able to sign-in and/or migrate/copy their mails somewhere else. Looking into the situation, Microsoft has extended the final retirement date thereby allowing users a few more days to copy over their emails and contacts.
if you haven’t migrated important email messages from your Nokia Mail account, this is the final reminder that Nokia Mail will be permanently discontinued on April 13th. Users interested in migrating just need to login to their Nokia Mail account and the account will be re-activated. They can then use the standard POP configuration to pull the emails to a different service. Importing to Yahoo seems not possible, so the best options are Microsoft’s Outlook or Google’s Gmail.
