Nokia 9 may be headed for a sooner than expected unveil if its appearances in certifications are anything to go by. After clearing EA Union and Bluetooth certifications, it has now stopped by at FCC, the USA certification authority. TA-1004, the most leaked variant of Nokia 9 is the one that has passed FCC certification now.
What the FCC certification reveals is that Nokia 9 will have a 5.3-inch display (Check the antenna diagram above that shows display size of 134.65 mm) and TA-1004 will be a Dual-SIM variant. This eventually means that TA-1012 that was paired with TA-1004 in EA Union certification will be the Single-SIM variant.
It will come with Dual SIM Dual Standby feature. The testing also involves use of a MicroSD card revealing that Nokia 9 will support storage extension with help of a MicroSD card.
This device has 2 SIM slots and supports Dual SIM Dual Standby. The WWAN radio transmission will be enabled by either one SIM at a time (Single active).
