Tidbits: GDR2 for AT&T Lumia 830. Yezz confirms W10M upgrade for its devices.

It seems while AT&T had officially cancelled the Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 update for its Lumia 830, the update is sitting now on Microsoft’s servers. As tipped by some of our readers (Thanks everyone for the tip), if one uses the WPRT, Lumia 830 can be updated to GDR2 along with a new Firmware. If you remember Lumia 830 was one of the first devices to be released with Lumia Denim to market but it never get the real “Lumia Denim” flavour with Denim imaging on AT&T ironically.

We covered this bit late, as we don’t have an image to show whether this is really happening but with number of tips coming, we have to cover it. So go ahead and check with WPRT if you least bother about loosing gaming scores and achievements. Here is link to our official How to use WPRT tutorial. You may like to go to our dedicated Windows Phone 8.1 GDR2 page for all the details.

Yezz has confirmed that all its devices will be updated to Windows 10 Mobile this fall continued through Winter. It also seems more devices are coming from Yezz running Windows Phone. A new Yezz smartphone with Windows Phone 8.1, the Yezz Monaco 47 was also introduced to Tech Media. The 4.7-inch device has a display resolution of 1280×720, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 1.2 Ghz processor. It also has a 13.1 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera.
