As you know my C6 recently got updated to software version 41.0.00 , it has got a real boost in overall performance. It is more fluid in operations than before also the new browser is awesome. Check the link below,

Now today I am sharing few vital apps, followed by some tips, which really are much required to get “smartphonesqe” performance and utility from C6.These apps make my C6 a workable option to mighty N8. (Camera wise still a big no :)).
NetQin Mobile Guard :
Since by design C6 has got only 125 MB RAM.Hence a RAM manager is a must.That’s where M-guard is required as tool to keep as much RAM free as possible.The nokia store link is given below.

N-desk:
This is one of the best application homescreen available for symbians out there.Especially for C6 with one home screen it becomes vital for a good user experience.

This application plugs a big hole Nokia has left in s60v5,i.e. absence of threaded sms.This is the only free app that can provide you threaded sms view.

Tips from my user experience:
Keep the auto run apps to nil (zero) if possible.Though it is not possible for N-desk,for others it can be possible.This is for keeping as much ram free as possible.Otherwise you will get annoying message of “memory full”.
Use Opera mini in place of opera browser,as it is far better memory user.
Update the phone software to have the latest version as it has many good enhancements.
