Nokia sends invite for “Zoom reinvented” on 11th July in NYC. EOS incoming!!

image003-1Cat is finally out of the bag :P. So, we even have the date now. Nokia has sent invites for an event named “Zoom reinvented” scheduled on 11th July in NYC. It is rather easy to guess that Nokia is talking about the lossless slide zoom which 41 MP PureView phase 1 sensor boasts of and may be they have targeted Samsung’s compact camera (phone) named “SGS 4 zoom” as well.

Anyways, Nokia EOS with that 41 MP sensor is certainly coming on 11th July. The event venue of NYC also confirms the exclusive rights of AT&T on the device in US market, a not that much welcome step by Nokia, but at least rest of the world will get it as well as RM-875.

So, mark the date guys. We will try bringing it in our “Live Blog” if possible.

ATT hasn’t been able to sell Lumia 900, 820 & 920. Why should they have exclusive rights on another lumia (L950) for 6months? I think this phone should be going to Verizon instead of ATT, unless Nokia has a Verizon Lumia 958 version for July release too.

I wish it were Verizon also but hope the 600 Microsoft stores within Best Buy will turn things around for the ATT sales reps lack of following through on Corporate ATT promotions. Why would you even go to a ATT store now with Microsoft stores having all the goodies? Computers, Xbox One and real sales help. This is the best thing for Nokia in the U.S. That and HSN.
