Nokia 3310 (2017) unboxing & first hands-on impressions video

HMD made Nokia 3310 (2017) available in India from May 18 albeit only in B&M retail stores. This coupled with very good demand as acknowledged officially by HMD has made it difficult to buy a Nokia 3310 (2017) in India. But we finally managed to get one and here we are with our unboxing and first hands-on impression video.

First Impressions:

The Nokia 3310 (2017) retail box is well-imagined and looks appealing. We got a chance to do hands-on with Yellow Nokia 3310 and it is certainly an eye-candy. Packaging is standard but really impressive for a feature phone.

The Nokia 3310 (2017) hands-on feel is quite impressive too. It may not be as imposing as its old and original self but looks every bit prettier. It looks very well-designed for its price and compliments came thick and fast from family members. Many said design wise it didn’t look like a cheap phone at all.

It is lighter, thinner and the bigger and vibrant display gives it a different personality. We loved what we saw and it feels great and evokes nostalgia when holding in hand. On booting Nokia Tune adds to that nostalgia. We though missed “connecting people” animation.

Got mine on the 24/05/17 and everyone I have shown it to think it looks better than the photos of it on the web. It really is tactile to hold. My only complaint about it would be the writing on the keys can be hard to see in certain lighting conditions.
