According to recently released Kantar’s report, Windows phone market share has grwon from 2.9% to 4.9% in 3 months ending June. We reported in June how after price cuts, Lumia 920 has become top seller at TMall. Now, it seems is the turn of Jingdong mall, China’s no.2 retailer to see Lumia 920 topping the sales charts. Yup, the current rankings at Jingdong show that Lumia 920 is no. 1 phone in the hot list of retailer. It is mighty impressive and seems Nokia is also reaping the fruits of selling older flagships cheaper, something what Apple does really successfully.
Though, the good news doesn’t stop at Lumia 920. Lumia 625 which has just gone on pre-order at Nokia’s official store at Jingdong, seems to be the top seller phone in new releases category. Chinese buyers love bigger screens and Lumia 625 may find lots of love and takers.
Thanks Roger for the Tip. Cheers!!
