Nokia Normandy listed on a retailer’s website in Vietnam – 4″, KitKat, & Google Play Access

This isn’t much of an important news, still, An online e-commerce website in Vietnam which goes by the name thegioididong has listed the Nokia Normandy with some of its specs which may or may not be true. The site claims that the phone comes with Google Play access as well as direct apps for YouTube, Gmail; etc. This shouldn’t be true if the phone is running the AOSP.

Other than that, the rest of the specs seem to be the same as what we already know. The phone is marked as having a 4″ FWVGA 480 x 854 touchscreen abd runs Android KitKat out of the box. There’s also a mention of the Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1Ghz

To me it seems just a collection of the already leaked info as the Normandy isn’t expected to launch as Normandy, but under a different, more professional series based numbering.

  • I believe the website is Vietnamese, not Indonesian:)

Thanks Tyler for pointing it out! Corrected 🙂

The plot thickens as the listing has been pulled down…

Perhaps that suggests it was genuine? Who knows!

The only thing that makes it slightly authentic is that the press photo is slightly different – the evleaks device was green but this one is red. But it could easily be a photoshop of the UI screenshot placed on an earlier leak picture

    • I see it more of a Photoshopped work than anything authentic. Rest who knows? 😀
