Nokia 9 Dummy images mentioning headphone charging port appear in the cases/covers listings in China now

Nokia 9 dummy images have started appearing in the listing of cases and covers in nearly all major markets. We reported about the listings in the US and the UK. And retailer Alibaba in China also has a listing of Nokia 9 cases revealing the similar images of the dummy Nokia 9 seen in the US and UK listings.

These all images of Nokia 9 dummy match to each other and also to our exclusive 3D sketches of Nokia 9 which sort of confirms that HMD has shared Nokia 9 product data with case makers globally.

Another image from the case/cover listing reconfirms absence of 3.5 headphone jack and position of other buttons and orifices. It also confirms that headphone and charging ports are integrated as confirmed by our sources earlier. This is however not confirmed yet whether USB adapter earphones will be part of the retail package though our sources indicate it may be the case.

We just reported that Nokia 9 may come with TA-1042, TA-1005, and TA-1009 product Codes. The Alibaba listing talks about the mass supply of these cases hinting at sooner launch of Nokia 9. Though as per our sources don’t expect Nokia 9 arrival in 2017.

Nokia 9 Details:

As per the leaked images and a leaked display panel, Nokia 9 will sport an edge to edge 3D glass display and a virtually bezel-less design. We have heard from our sources that Nokia 9 will come with 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, IP68 certification. The above image also possibly confirms a fingerprint scanner on the back just below the camera.

As per a tip received by us earlier, Nokia 9 may be price around EUR 749 in European markets. You can read all that we know about Nokia 9 at our dedicated Nokia 9 page.

Thanks Elielder for the tip. Cheers

    So… if it doesn’t have the 3.5 jack are there credit card scanners with the appropriate adapters?

    It is definitely not my Nokia phone.
    1. Ugly camera hump iPhone 7 plus style;
    2. Fingerprint reader on the back – most inconvenient place for me – try to unlock your phone when is on the desk or table. Why not side mounted as SONY???
    3. No headphone jack – HMD. why you behave as jack-asses? I understand Apple with they property port and making more money, but you definitely do not make money from USB-C port. Why? And don’t tell me because of IP67/68. Sony and Samsung have it WITH 3.5mm jack.
    Overall – blind design, ugly back. Boring phone. DOA.

    I Hope Nokia 9 will be released in India on March end or April after MWC 2018 (Feb 26 – Mar 1).
    Nokia Active Wireless Headphone (WH – 501)or USB Type C Head phone will replace 3.5 mm head phone.
    It would be nice ,if nokia release their headphones in B&M shop or in the box.

    no headphone port = no buy

    Thanks, but I will wait for Nokia 7. This is not the way of doing cellphones, HMD. You need to follow your own path.
