So, we have tried to reach to our sources and what we heard is not very inspiring. In case of nearly all the major markets including Europe, UK and India we mayn’t see a release before May.

As per a rumor, Nokia 3310 may be listed in the Malaysian market by end of April. As per this rumor, in Malaysia Nokia 3, 5 and 6 will get listed in May but in phases.

Russia may get the smartphones and Nokia 3310 before other markets and probably by end of April.

In case of India, we already have official confirmation of Nokia 3, 5 and 6 launch in a end of May  to early June time-frame. Nokia 3310 may drop by sooner, but our sources indicate that HMD may now be planning to launch all the phones by mid of May.

Coming to UK, in spite of being one of the priority markets, the phones won’t launch in UK before early to mid of May again. Listings from retailer clove also indicate about a May release in UK. Suppose we have to remember that this new Nokia company is only just starting out but have gone straight to the top of the phone manufactures leave. Looking forward to getting a 3310. I presently use a Nokia 216 as my work phone and have been really pleased with it. Hopefully will get better at delivery dates in the future.

Nokia is delaying and it could be their big fatal mistake. For example my interest is now gone and I bought myself the iPhone. No body wants to wait simple.

But i am happy Nokia project crystal materialised perfectly; let’s see what pheonix brings out.

That approach to releases seems to be a bit naive to say the least. They could have had staggered releases, starting with 3310 and a Nokia 3 together in all markets. Then going on to a new release every month or so…

Perhaps they want to stock it before releasing, given what is happening in China.

I remember back in the days when Nokia released Nokia Lumia 920, was huge delays and “out of stock” etc.. So this is not good PR if they repeating the “old Nokia” way so to speak.

This is not flagship devices (with Snapdragon 835) and it would not be a problem to release them faster since Nokia 6 have been out a long time.
Atleast you would be able to buy them online, if not in carrier stores.

Anyway I hope they will improve going forward.

Yeah, half year since launch is very poor worldwide availability. Will wait for @hmdglobal flagship. And 3Gb ram glibal version too, ????

So I assume a US launch would be even later

Or never, my time line is April, I can’t trust in a company who take several months to provide a ordinary medium phone.

    • Kamal

Yes, that is a wise assumption. They haven’t even confirmed US launch officially

  • Paulo Ferreira

Six months after China…so,will be half price?
