A new Nokia Android smartphone has passed compulsory certification in China. TA-1054 follows TA-1041 and TA-1042 in the certification. TA-1041 was launched as Nokia 7 and TA-1042 is still unknown.
So, TA-1054 passing certification makes it very interesting as we now have two yet to be launched smartphones TA-1042 and TA-1054, which are certainly coming to market. Surprisingly we don’t have many smartphones left for the unveiling this year. Nokia 9 is the only one that is supposed to arrive in coming days.
So, what is TA-1042, if TA-1054 is Nokia 9. We can just make a guess. It may be Nokia 8 for China or maybe another variant of the Nokia 9.
HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas just told us in an exclusive interview that HMD is not slowing down anytime soon. He also revealed that HMD has an absolute interest in Borderless display and transparent yet resilient material technology. Lots of hints there!!
Nokia 9 Details:
As per the leaked images and a leaked display panel, Nokia 9 will sport an edge to edge 3D glass display and a virtually bezel-less design. We have heard from our sources that Nokia 9 will come with 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, IP68 certification. The above image also possibly confirms a fingerprint scanner on the back just below the camera.
