Jesper Ovesen from NSN to step down as Executive Chairman after the Deal Closes

Nokia yesterday announced in a PR that the current Executive Chairman of Nokia Solutions and Networks, Jesper Ovesen is stepping down from his job after the Nokia – Microsoft deal closes. He will however continue to serve in an advisory role for a period after the deal closes.

There is no other planned change to the rest of the team and NSN CEO Rajeev Suri will remain in place. As a note, excluding Mobile division NSN accounted for 90% of Nokia’s Q3 profits which makes it a very important department for the growth and success of Nokia Corporation.
