The new Nokia smartphone that earlier passed certification at FCC with TA-1085, TA-1096, TA-1095 & TA-1100 variants has now passed certification in Canada too. While the Canadian certification doesn’t reveal too many details FCC certification revealed that the device comes with NFC capability hinting at mid-range and above standing of it in the line-up. TA-1085 is mentioned as the Single SIM while TA-1096 as the Dual-SIM variant.

We have been posting about Nokia 9 and Nokia 7.1 Plus leaks more frequently in recent times. TA-1094 has been revealed as Nokia 9 and has passed certification in China already. Similarly we have seen TA-1104 passing certification in Russia.

We recently shared a communication from operator Telenor claiming Nokia 7.1 Plus release by the end of October/beginning of November. Nokia 9 may be however launched before or together with Nokia 7.1 Plus.

Nokia 9 details:

We have been reporting via our sources that Nokia 9 (2018) will bring a Penta-Lens camera setup and may also feature in-display fingerprint sensor. We have earlier talked about this Penta-Lens camera module in detail while joining all the dots, as Zeiss has patented a “Miniature zoom camera” with multiple lenses arranged in a circular manner. Recently HMD CPO Juho visited Zeiss lab and sought to tease about his visit on Twitter.

Nokia 9 may come with 5.9-inch, QHD resolution 3D glass OLED display and will be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor, You can read probable Nokia 9 specs at our dedicated page.

Nokia 7.1 Plus details:

It will be known as Nokia 7.1 Plus globally, will be powered by Snapdragon 710 and is code-named Phoenix internally. Nokia Phoenix appeared as PNX and Phoenix code-names in the FIH server database.
