I am not convinced because withings brings nothing new, Nokia had all these technologies developed inhouse over the years there’s a company by exNokians called pulseOnHr they developed sometime similiar with amazing Nokia developed technologies. Nokia had a wellness business unit since 2004 or 2005. So i am really excited that Nokia is now officially entering the segment but not happy with the acquisition as they could have gone organic.

I can understand your sentiments but it has now become an acceptable way to get good and established business presence in terms of recognition, manpower, start up mentality. Every major company is doing it so why not Nokia. It takes lots of effort to build a competent team and a brand presence in a new field.
