Windows 10 Eligible Devices List shows AT&T, Verizon & Sprint onboard

Windows 10 Eligible

We have earlier posted an official list of devices mentioned as first  to receive Windows 10 Mobile when available. The official page for US  market reveals,

The following Lumia smartphones will receive a free upgrade when available: Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Lumia 735, Lumia 830, and Lumia 930.

But now there is one more list of Windows 10 eligible devices for US which is smaller but is quite interesting!! The Microsoft US store has its own listing of “Windows 10 eligible devices” and it lists devices from three carriers AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. While it will be premature to conclude that every Windows Phone 8.1 devices on these carriers will get Windows 10 Mobile, it does hint about some kind of understanding that all three carriers may have already decided to push Windows 10 Mobile to listed devices. Though it is not good sign to see any T-Mobile device on that list.

Good to know that both unlocked and Verizon bound Lumia 635 are deemed eligible for Windows 10 Mobile upgrade. It was bit shocking to see Lumia 635 missing from the list of devices getting Windows 10 Mobile first.

Thanks Alex for the tip. Cheers!!
