Shipments of Nokia Phones in India was on upswing during the fourth quarter of 2020. As per a report it registered a 7% growth on a year-on-year basis.

The latest report by CMR India reveals that Nokia brand did well in Q4 2020 by increasing its feature phones shipments. In fact, it was the only other brand with a positive swing in shipment numbers. Samsung grew its feature phones shipments by 47% year-on-year.

The growth in Indian market was recently confirmed by HMD VP Kochhar in an interview. He had also revealed that India was a profitable market for Nokia Mobile in 2020.

As per another report shared with us by CounterPoint Research, the Nokia brand ranks 2nd in feature phones & 15th in smartphones amongst top manufacturers in Q4 2020. Nokia feature phones held around 16% market share while Nokia smartphones accounted for only 0.7% of market share globally.
