Microsoft announced two Lumia flagships the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL yesterday and while these two devices pack some high-end specifications and some unique features like “Continuum for Phones“, one aspect many fans would like to know more about is undoubtedly the PureView camera on these two devices.
Juha, whom we know as the person responsible for PureView imaging at Microsoft, has revealed some new features that Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL camera packs. Juha also claims these two to be the “Best Camera”, the team has ever made. The new cameras pack improved sensor design , 5th gen OIS, F/1.9 aperture camera, Natural Pixel processing, RGB Flash and can do ISO till 12800 now. Juha has posted tweet about a new feature that allows two exposure times in the same image as the exciting new features. All the new features are listed below.
We can also add that the Lumia 950 / 950 XL camera allows 8 MP oversampled images. You can get 8 MP + DNG (RAW) image as the Dual-capture option.
