MWC 2016 is going on & we have seen lots of phones from different companies including Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, LG G5 & a totally new phone named as HP Elite X3 from HP. Here in this article we are going to put HP’s new Windows 10 Mobile offering against some top offerings from companies with Android like LG & Samsung. Both the companies have introduced their flagships i.e. LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7. We have already made a comparison between some 2016 flagship even before they were announced.

So without wasting much time, let’s just start the fight,

Design :

Design & build quality is what we care most when we have to buy any product. Suppose we are going to buy a car, we will go for some reputed brand or the brand we trust most or the brand which is famous for it’s build quality & design.  So if we take a look at the design of these 3 phones we have Samsung & LG as metal build while HP is having plastic build. But the design of HP Elite doesn’t look cheap but neither it looks like a 2016 flagship.

LG is also one of a kind device. It is the first modular phone which is a benefit for the users. With at just 7.5 it is quite appraising to see such kind of arrangement.  So we will say that LG has done a great job in the designing department of LG G5. While Samsung hasn’t changed much in the Samsung Galaxy S7 but just the camera module & the back which is now inspired by the Galaxy Note 5.

Display:

Display is what we always care for. We always check for resolution of the display before buying a phone.  Earlier we were happy with even 720p resolution but now in 2015-16 , the condition has changed & we have moved far away in the display. Now every company is going for QHD resolution for the display leaving even the Full HD far behind.  So here in this department all the devices are having QHD display. The HP Elite X3 is having a 5.96-inch QHD display. In LG G 5 we have a 5.3-inch QHD display which is edge-to edge with 3D arc while Samsung opted for 5.1/5.5 inch QHD Super AMOLED display in their devices.

So LG has the smallest display & will be having highest pixel density & colors will be more beautiful in this one compared to others.

Processor:

Processor is the power house of a device. The 2016 flagship are having great amount of power in them. The LG G5 is getting power from a 64-bit Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. Same is the case with HP Elite X3 smartphone. While these two devices are having Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Samsung is having Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 as well as it’s own Exynox 8890 octa-core processor.

RAM:

RAM or Random Access Memory is the memory that is required to run any app or even the Operating System. To install any app, we need ROM but to use it/ run it , we need RAM.

So all the 2016 flagships are having 4GB of RAM as standard. whether it’s LG G5 or Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge or even HP Elite X3, all are equipped with 4GB of RAM that are fast also.

Storage:

Storage is very important factor before buying any device. All the 2016 flagships except the Hp Elite X3 are having 32GB as basic internal storage which can be expanded also via a Micro SD card. The HP Elite X3 is having 64 GB as base storage model.

Samsung was criticized for not having Micro SD card slot in the Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone launched in 2015. So this year they realized their mistake & made the Galaxy S7/ S7 Edge with Micro SD card support. This is a welcoming change from the company.

Camera:

As we all know this is the department where users test more on practical results that the data or specs. We have seems many flop camera phones with higher resolution of camera pixels. Apple seems to be doing great job with Cameras of their devices.

The Hp Elite X3 is equipped with 16 MP Camera on the rear side with some advanced photographic capabilities. It is also coupled with 8MP camera on the rear with FFC. The second contender that comes in this comparison is Samsung Galaxy S7  with it’s new 12MP rear camera with so called Dual pixel technology. On the front side, Samsung has equipped it with 5MP camera. Finally we have the metal-clad LG G5 device with it’s 16MP camera on the rear with dual camera setup & laser focus. The device is having some very advanced camera technologies that set it apart from other. Secondary camera is also very helpful in getting very good amount of details & zooming capabilities.

Battery:

Battery is a major concern nowadays. We have already seen many companies launching phones with huge batteries inside it like Asus Zenfone Max, Gionee P5, Lenovo Vibe P1, Xolo Era 4K etc.

But we never found a flagship with huge battery because of design issues. The Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge are having 3000mAh/3600mAh batteries inside them. LG has opted for a removable modular 2800 mAh battery capacity while HP went for huge 4150 mAh battery for it’s flagship.

Operating System:

We know that three devices are having same operating system while one is having different from those other three. The Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge are having Android Marshmallow & LG G5 also. But HP Elite X3 is a phone that supports Windows 10 Mobile OS in it.
