HMD announced Nokia 6 price and availability details yesterday during the India launch event. While Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will be available to buy only in B&M retail stores initially, Nokia 6 will be sold by Amazon India online exclusively.
Amazon has now made Nokia 6 listing official on its site. The registration for Nokia 6 Flash Sale will begin on July 14. Flash Sale is a mode of sale that has been made popular with smartphones from Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi. You need to pre-register on Amazon India before the flash sale and you need to be present online on the day of Flash Sale. If you are fast enough you will manage to buy a Nokia 6 on the day of Flash Sale.
We are certainly not a big fan of Flash Sale mode, but it may help HMD and Amazon in generating big interest around Nokia 6. In fact, when Nokia 6 was launched in China exclusively on JD.com, there was lots of buyer interest that made sell-outs look like Flash Sales.
