Here is another speed test video between the Lumia Icon and Lumia 1020.  Let us know if there is anything specific you all want to see.

I am an information systems major. I am a big nokia fan and I am glad to be part of the Nokia power user team. I am also a big fan of fantasy football and fantasy hockey. Currently using a Lumia Icon. Have a nice read and feel free to share your feedback. @fantasyandfones
  • This seems to confirm what I’ve been saying from the beginning to all those people whining about WP not showing up on bleeding edge hardware: IT DOESN’T NEED IT to give you a consistent user experience. I’ll bet the only two areas where it would show a difference would be games and video production.

    • They really need to optimize the OS for those quad-cores. It should have a better performance. I mean, we are talking about a 2.2GHz Quad-Core in the 929 vs 1.5 GHZ Quad-Core in the 1020. Also, both have 2 Gigs of RAM, so that is not an equation. Even if they were tested for Single Core, Icon has the speed advantage, so why is it behind the 1020 on some loading times?
I wouldn’t see the need of buying my 1520 for that matter, I would have been fine with the 810. Well, never mind, the battery life on the 1520 was my key to purchasing it.
