Continuum touch & 2K support rumored with Windows 10 Mobile Redstone

Continuum for Phones is the major USP for Microsoft’s latest Flagship Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL and Microsoft has promoted this feature as PC like experience with a smartphone.

Now if a latest report from folks at WinFuture is to be believed it seems Windows 10 Mobile Redstone will bring some Continuum related improvements on-board. Their sources have told them Redstone will bring Touch-screen Monitors support and also 2K support to Continuum for Phones. They also report that there will be functionality and UI improvements coming to Continuum for Phones with Redstone update.

We earlier reported via our sources that Microsoft is planning to bring next major Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile update in two waves: Redstone 1 (Rs 1) and Redstone 2 (RS2) and also revealed what all features can be expected from Redstone updates. We also reported about “Enhanced Continuum” coming with future Flagships, but we are not sure about this report. We will keep you updated if we come to know more.
