Windows 10 universal Photos app has received an update that brings some UI / UX changes and makes creation of Albums easier and possible from anywhere in Photos app. The update takes the app version to 16.526.11222.0.
Changelog (What we noticed):
- If you long press on any image in Thumbnail view you get two extra options in the context sensitive menu. Add to Album and Slideshow
- You can now multi-select images to create Album from anywhere in the app. When you select images you now see an extra + at the bottom, tapping on which takes you to Album creation screen
- Context menu that we get after long pressing on individual images also has extra option of adding to Albums
- App overall seems snappier than ever
