Windows 10 Mobile Build 10136 screenshots gallery & Installation experience

wp_ss_20150616_0001We finally managed to install Windows 10 Mobile preview Build 10136 on our Lumias. The build brings the OS version 10.0.12634.131 with many official changes. Time to have a look at some of the screenshots that give a good idea into some of the important changes that the build brings, though stay tuned for our extensive hands-on coverage. First the installation experience.

Installation experience:

The update takes around 25-30 minutes in getting downloaded over a good connection. The update is around 500-800 MB in size. Installation and data migration takes another 40-55 minutes, so a bit of patience is needed. It went quite smoothly for my devices, though you need to read this super-important info, in case you see issue with your lock-screen post completion of upgrade.

For your info, if you have not followed our coverage then you need to roll-back to Windows Phone 8.1 for installing Build 10136. You may also need to go to Windows Insider app and reselect Insider Fast ring after rolling back to Windows Phone 8.1. In case you are new to Windows 10 for Phones preview you need to follow our tutorial for updating to Windows 10 for Phones.

    Hello Kamal,

Nice write-up. Can you post a screenshot of the incoming call UI, both with the screen locked and unlocked?
