Update: It now is available for non-insiders too and we can confirm one of our non-insider devices running Anniversary update receiving it today. We have tips from or readers too. Check and let us know in comments.
It was long-awaited and it is here now. Windows 10 Camera app has added Panorama mode for everyone. Initially it was present only for Fast Ring Insiders but with the latest Update, it is available for Release Preview ring too.
How to take a Panorama:
To take a panorama, switch into the panorama mode by tapping the Panorama button. Tap it again to start capturing, and then, starting from the left side of your subject, rotate the device slowly from left to right across the scene. Here are a few tips for capturing panoramas:
- Steadily rotate your device from left to right, without moving it up or down—just follow the arrow indicators.
- When shooting panoramas, the device is locked in portrait orientation.
- Try shooting a vertical panorama of a tall building or other landmark by turning the camera on its side and slowly rotating the device from bottom to top.
