WhatsApp for Windows Phone / Windows 10 Mobile has received some important features with the latest update. Video Call has finally arrived on WhatsApp and it also adds image editing & drawing option. The latest version is 2.16.288.
Surprisingly for some Video Call has arrived and for others it may take time as was the case with Whatsapp Beta too. Seems it arrived as a hidden feature and has been enabled by WhatsApp in phases. So, keep checking if you don’t see it enabled on your devices.
You can now place video call by just tapping on the call icon and selecting Video Call. The device on other end should also have a WhatsApp version supporting Video Calls.
Also you can now edit your images, add stickers & emoticons and draw on before sending via WhatsApp. As you can check in screenshots, there are new editing and drawing options other than the old “Crop”
Also there are bug fixes and performance improvement.
