VLC for Windows Phone has received an update and the latest version 1.1.1.0 brings an experimental “music player UI”, indexing optimization, new artist view and many big fixes as per the developer. Check the new look of music player in screenshot above.

The update looks like a good one in terms of changes that it brings and we must say that the app now feels smoother and well-made. It still misses capability to run HD videos but hopefully it will be here soon.
