Sometime back, Nokia’s Jo harlow mentioned in an interview that Nokia is all but set to bring Dual-Sim Lumia in future. She though didn’t mention which price-point these new dual-sim Lumias will belong.

But, new Snapdragon 200 processors announcement has  actually given enough clue about how these dual-sim Lumias may shape up. According to the press release from Qualcomm, these new processors are compatible with “Windows Phone“, have dual-sim capability, use Adreno 302 which looks bit less powerful than Adreno 305 being currently used on Lumia 520. Also, these processors have support for HSPA+ (up to 21Mbps) and TD-SCDMA (China Mobile). Good news is availability of both dual-core and quad-core processors.

The processors will have support for dual cameras, with an 8 Megapixel rear-facing camera and up to a 5 Megapixel front-facing one, as well as feature a single platform for all SIM variants, including Dual SIM, Dual Standby, and Dual SIM, Dual Active, and Tri SIM Tri Standby. The latest additions to the Snapdragon 200 class also feature: class-leading graphics performance with Adreno 302 GPU; integrated industry-leading IZat Location functionality and support of Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0; support for the latest Android, Windows Phone and Firefox operating systems; RxD support; and a single, multimode modem enabling faster data rates, fewer dropped calls, and better connections.

As we know, Windows Phone is one of the better OSes out there to deliver its trademark smooth navigation and fluid performance even at lower processor and GPU specs. Hence, it seems we are certainly going to see dual-sim Lumias with even lower price than Lumia 520 in later part of 2013, as these processors are going to be available in late 2013.
