As HMD plans to make MWC 2018 awesome by launching new Nokia Android smartphones on Feb 25, two variants of either Nokia 7 or Nokia 6 2018 have passed certification at FCC. TA-1016 and TA-1045 are Single and Dual-SIM variants of the same Nokia device, reveal the FCC certifications.
The device in question has a 3000 mAH battery and thus can be either of Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 7. The certification however doesn’t point out much detail to identify which one.
What though seems clear is that these two variants may be US-bound as HMD has disabled all the non-US frequencies and country code selections.
The device prototypes again have the “Avatar” codename as was seen in the case of Nokia 9 variant TA-1005. One can also notice mention of Canada in the certification screenshot below. The other detail that caught our eye is that it may be launched running Android Oreo out of the box.
