Samsung’s next flagship lineup may be getting one of its biggest camera shakeups in years. A fresh leak suggests the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 series could introduce major imaging upgrades across multiple models, while also adding a brand-new “Pro” variant to the lineup.
The rumored changes indicate Samsung is working to reduce the gap between its standard Galaxy S devices and the Ultra series — especially when it comes to camera hardware.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Camera Upgrades Could Be Massive
According to the latest leak, the new Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro may arrive with a powerful 200MP primary camera sensor. That would put the Pro model much closer to Ultra-level photography performance than previous non-Ultra Galaxy phones.
The leak also claims the S27 Pro could feature dual 50MP secondary sensors, potentially improving ultra-wide and telephoto photography. If true, Samsung may finally offer a more premium camera setup outside of its Ultra lineup.
Meanwhile, the base Samsung Galaxy S27 is tipped to receive a 50MP ultra-wide or telephoto camera upgrade, which would still represent a significant improvement over current standard Galaxy models.
Four Galaxy S27 Models Reportedly in Development
Samsung is rumored to be preparing four devices in the Galaxy S27 family:
- Samsung Galaxy S27
- Samsung Galaxy S27+
- Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro
- Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra
The addition of the Pro variant could help Samsung better compete with rival flagship lineups that already separate premium models with “Pro” branding.
The S27 Pro is expected to sit between the standard and Ultra versions, offering flagship-grade features without reaching Ultra pricing.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Display Sizes Leak
The same leak also reveals the rumored screen sizes for all four Galaxy S27 models:
- Galaxy S27 — 6.3-inch display
- Galaxy S27+ — 6.7-inch display
- Galaxy S27 Pro — 6.47-inch display
- Galaxy S27 Ultra — 6.9-inch display
The sizing suggests Samsung may continue targeting different user preferences, from compact flagship fans to users wanting larger premium displays.
Samsung Could Finally Close the Gap Between Standard and Ultra Models
For years, Samsung has reserved its best camera hardware for Ultra devices. If these leaks prove accurate, the Galaxy S27 lineup may finally bring more advanced camera capabilities to non-Ultra users.
The rumored 200MP sensor and dual 50MP setup on the S27 Pro could make it one of Samsung’s most interesting flagship additions in years.
While Samsung has not officially confirmed any details yet, the leaks already point to a major refresh for the Galaxy S lineup ahead of its expected launch next year
