SA report puts Q2 Windows Phone sales to 8 mi units. Comscore shows slight growth in US

Windows Phone USQ2 reports from Strategy Analytics and Comscore give some insights into how Windows Phone may have fared in terms of market share globally and in US for the June Quarter. While the SA report gives a 8 million units sales figure for Q2, 2014, Comscore report shows that Windows Phone may have grown by 0.1% in mature US market from Q1 to Q2.

Microsoft has given volume shipment details for some 65 days post Nokia-Microsoft deal closure. So we can safely assume overall volume around 8.5 million on extrapolating the figure for entire Q2.

In case of US market only, Apple and Windows Phone have shown growth while all other platforms including Android have declined a bit.
