HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas just announced the release of Android 9 Pie update to Nokia 7.1 on Twitter. Nokia 7.1 becomes the fourth Nokia smartphone after Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 6.1 Plus to get treated to the Android Pie sweetness.

Juho also mentioned in a subsequent tweet that the roll-out will be phased, so not everyone with a Nokia 7.1 will get it at the same time.
Note that, as always, we have a phased roll-out to ensure we deliver you the highest quality and experience – some markets with longer technical approval cycles will follow as soon as possible.
