There are no new features in this release but simply enhancements around usability and performance.
Update 29.2.12 includes these fixes:
Maps 3.09
- Bugs have been fixed in the connections between Maps and other apps like Calendar and Phone book.
- The Map Loader downloading issue has been fixed.
- The traffic layer for Drive should be noticeably faster in large cities.
- Photos on the map will not be available for users who are in China or who do not have a SIM card installed.
Weather
- Fixes for the issue where the position was failing to update.
- Fixes for the cases where users could not add new cities.
- Weather widget beta is now out, separately from Maps <link>. The widget is not part of the Maps Suite because it will not be ready for commercial release until some time later.
