First Nokia Android Nougat Phone leaks with SD 430 & 3 GB RAM.

We earlier reported about two high-end Nokia Android Nougat Phones in works as a part of upcoming Nokia Android portfolio. And in the same article we told you that Nokia is also looking to bring devices to cater to mid-range and low-end of the customer segments.

Now the very first Nokia Android Nougat device has shown up on Geekbench and it is a mid-ranger with Snapdragon 430 processor and 3 GB RAM. The phone is code-named as Nokia D1C. So, Nokia is planning to come to the market with a portfolio of phones aimed at major price points.

While not much is known about other details of Nokia D1C, we hear that Nokia will bring a competitive package at a good pricing. We will keep you update when we come to know more about it.

  • Android Nougat 7.0

Nokia D1C Release Date:

All the information from all the sources official or unofficial indicate an end of 2016 to early 2017 timeline for new Nokia Android smartphones launch.

    Hmm… something doesn’t sound right. And that’s a low end processor with 3GB of RAM.
    Geekbench is the easiest thing in the world to fake so I wouldn’t put much faith in these tests.
    IF Nokia is working on a low end device with a SD430, then they’d put 2GB of RAM in it which would already be better than most low end devices get.
    Alternatively, IF this benchmark is real, we could be looking at a prototype. Which means that the final processor isn’t either chosen or available yet.

    Hope this time the pricing is competitive like Nokia n1 tablet and they should follow online only strategy and release in India unlike their tablet
