We have tested the real-life performance of the Nokia 8 in this performance testing video. Nokia 8, being the flagship Nokia smartphone, we have conducted this test in heavy usage scenario. This means one may be browsing with lots of tabs, playing heavy games and multitasking with many tabs, games, and apps open in the background.
Nokia 8 is powered by top-end Snapdragon 835 processor and mates it with 4GB RAM. It comes running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. So, how does Nokia 8 actually perform with heavy load? You can decide for yourself by checking the video.
Multitasking:
With 2 super-heavy games (Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods among us) and one other game (Subway surfer), 25 browser tabs, Camera, and many other apps open in the background it hardly shows any signs of stress. As you will notice in the video, apps/games resume fast from background during multitasking and there are no crashes/lags/freezes even with so much load.
Gaming:
Gaming is very enjoyable on Nokia 8 and we have tried to demo the game-play with heavy and critically acclaimed games like Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods among us. You would love the volume output and the performance of the phone remains top-notch.
Browsing:
Even with 25 browser tabs open it always seems that Nokia 8 can take even more load. Pages load instantly and zooming, panning, tab changing all are snappy.
