HMD released the Nokia 7.1 at an event in London. The specs that came from the horse’s mouth mentioned that the smartphones are coming with two variants, one with a 3GB of RAM coupled with a 32GB of storage, and the other one with 4GB memory and 64GB of storage. Interestingly, the company for unknown reasons, despite releasing two variants, went ahead with the lower memory and storage in many markets, especially in Europe.
That is changing as HMD today brings Nokia 7.1 with more RAM and storage in the Czech market. This also means that in future we might also see the Nokia 7.1 with a 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage coming to other markets in Europe. That said, make no mistake that the smartphone with higher RAM and storage was available in various markets in the Middle East. So, technically, Czech is not the first country to get more storage and RAM, but it certainly is the first country in Europe to get it.
The price that was set for this device is 8 499 € in the country. Nokia 7.1 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 coupled with a 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, a 12MP/5MP dual rear camera(Zeiss Optics) coupled with EIS(Electronic Image Stabilisation technology) to reduce the effects of unstable hands while filming(more details about Nokia 7.1).
