All Nokia Android Phones are officially confirmed to get Android Oreo soon and will also get Android P as HMD has repeatedly confirmed two years of software update support for its Nokia Android phones range. But it seems Android 7.1.2 Nougat may be the next update release for Nokia Android Phones, which is logical too.
All Nokia Android Phones including Nokia 8 are on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the path to Android 8.0 Oreo should pass through the incremental update of Android 7.1.1, the Android 7.1.2. Nokia 6 has been seen on GFXBench with Android 7.1.2, which means testing is underway.
Android 7.1.2 brings enhanced notification stability, Battery Usage alerts, fingerprint swipe performance improvements and more. It also packs a number of bug fixes, added features, and general performance/stability improvements.
