Didn’t we tell you exclusively that a Nokia value Flagship with Snapdragon 7XX processor is in works already. Now, Qualcomm has confirmed this while launching its new Snapdragon 7XX series with 5G support.

Twelve leading global OEMs and brands including OPPO, realme, Redmi, Vivo, Motorola, HMD Global, the home of Nokia smartphones, and LG Electronics, plan to use this new integrated Snapdragon 7 Series 5G mobile platform in their future 5G mobile devices. The integrated Snapdragon 7 Series 5G Mobile Platform began sampling to customers in the second quarter of 2019. With exceptional progress, Qualcomm Technologies has accelerated the commercial readiness of this platform to fourth quarter of 2019 with devices expected to launch soon thereafter. Full details of the platform will be disclosed later this year.

HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas has confirmed it too in an interview that the Nokia value flagship is coming in 2020. He today retweeted the tweet from Qualcomm perhaps making his intentions clear.

The Nokia value flagship will be priced around $500,  if we consider what Juho hinted at in the interview.

Talking about this Snapdragon 7XX processor with 5G support Qualcomm revealed that it will be based on 7nm platform. It will bring next-gen AI Engine, gaming and other premium features to the affordable category.
