We last reported about the rumored image of Nokia X7 display panel appearing in China. Now, even more images of the same display panel have been posted. Rumor also claims that Nokia X7 (China) will be called Nokia 7.1 Plus globally.
The rumor also claims what we have already heard from elsewhere about Nokia X7. It will be powered by Snapdragon 710 and is code-named Phoenix internally. Nokia Phoenix appeared as PNX and Phoenix code-names in the FIH server database.
We would again like to reiterate that by having a look at the display panel one can’t assume it to belong to Nokia X7. The notch seems to be bigger than that seen on Nokia X6. And the display panel seems similar to Nokia X5 aks 5.1 Plus display panel. And we believe that HMD would certainly try to fit a smaller notch on Nokia X7 it being the flagship mid-ranger.
Coming to when we can expect its launch, Nokia X7 aka Nokia 7.1 Plus powered by Snapdragon 710 may be targeted at a late 2018 launch. It is rumored to be the successor to Nokia 7 Plus.
