First Microsoft Apps(Lync, one note) update arrives for Belle devices!!

As promised by Nokia in past Microsoft apps including Lync, One note arrives as an update for Symbian Belle devices.This is first of two updates which brings the following apps,

  • Microsoft OneNote, for detailed note-taking
  • Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast, for showcasing your presentations over the internet
  • Microsoft Document Connection, for managing files stored in the cloud
  • Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile, for staying connected with clients and colleagues

The second update is promised in the first few months of 2012 and will bring native support for Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, the update will allow to easily create and edit Office files.

Some of our friends tipped us today that this update has arrived for Symbian Belle devices like 603, 700, 701.

Showcased at Nokia World 2011 in London, Microsoft Apps will be launched via two updates, which will bring full Microsoft Office functionality to Symbian Belle-powered Nokia devices such as the Nokia 700, Nokia 701 and Nokia 603; with the first update on the way before the end of the year and the second update coming in the early part of 2012.

In the first update, Microsoft Apps will bring a range of tools to Symbian Belle smartphones, including Microsoft OneNote, for detailed note-taking; Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast, for showcasing your presentations over the internet; Microsoft Document Connection, for managing files stored in the cloud; and Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile, for staying connected with clients and colleagues.

The second update will launch for Symbian Belle in the first few months of 2012 and is the one we’re most looking forward to. Bringing native support for Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, the update will allow you to easily create and edit Office files on your Nokia Symbian Belle handset, letting you enjoy full Office functionality on your phone.

    Any know about nimbuzz call option from online buddy after i update with my e7 belle i can’t make call option is not available only work with wifi i use my data usb sim to check this also not work even my cell no also verified still not work

    • Try reinstalling nimbuzz and check.in my case it is working fine. If you have issue connecting with mobile data check whether nimbuzz settings is set to wifi only?

    • you would not be able to configure Lync without a corporate account.For document you need to have a windows live account,with which you can configur eit.
