  • I may be wrong, but I think you accidentally pre-focussed the 830 camera at about 6:05 in the video. The 925 seems to have issues focussing with this “lens cover” on. You may want to redo this shot-to-shot test with a normal scene instead of it lying flat on a table with nothing to focus on. (either that or fix focus on manual infinity)

What strikes me most is how much nicer the 925 screen looks. Clearly you see the IPS vs OLED difference here.

The 830 looks like a nice side-grade from the 925. For not too much money.

I have done the test while actually capturing images outdoors and results remain same. in fact, I demo something only when, I have tested “to be compared devices” beforehand.

Personally, I like Lumia 830’s LCD display more for its truer colors and in case you want more vivid colors, you can get that by changing display settings. I will post display comparison between two devices soon, so stay tuned 🙂

    • Marco, the new phones with Denim all have continuous autofocus, so they will shoot instantly when it already has acquired focus (which kind of is true when camera faces down.. it won’t know the focus and gives up trying to focus, so it’ll just shoot instantly).
