Anyone suspicious abou this naming strategy?

eventually it could be a mess like in Lumia line.

Yeah, Evan Blass…the same “credible source” that also brought us the “Nokia by Microsoft” branding etc and then came up with some bullsh*t excuse to justify that which no one with two living brain cells would have believed.

As for the flagship missing MWC, I still think it won’t happen. If Nokia misses the opportunity of making a splash at MWC, they won’t be able to get a venue where so many media will be with their eyes set on them.
Regarding the supposedly “initial exclusivity” of the SD835 to Samsung, IF that is true (and I have my doubts on that…it seems more like an excuse by the likes of LG to justify cutting costs and using the SD820 instead) nothing prevents Nokia to announce the flagships and say:

“these two phones will come later in the Spring, as we wanted the best chipset and we preferred to wait for the SD835”

and then have some prototypes at the booth or show them like Blackberry did with the Mercury. That would not only spark the media and consumer curiosity but also pass on the message that “we preferred to wait to give our consumers only the best”. And Nokia consumers would understand it and be glad for that (which would be a stark departure from the Lumia days)

I hope so because of earlier SD 835 demo units bearing typical Lumia design traits. There must be possibility they were developed by HMD/Nokia which mean this company also has access to a limited batch of SD835 and they are able to make devices with it
