Interactive Tiles not coming with Windows 10 Anniversary update

Microsoft yesterday revealed during Build 2016 sessions that much-awaited Interactive Tiles are still being worked upon, but it seems they are not ready yet to be shipped in the Windows 10 Anniversary update coming this summer. As per our sources Microsoft is now targeting Redstone Phase 2 or RS2 for bringing Interactive Tiles to windows 10. You can read about Redstone update timelines and expected upcoming features by clicking here.

Microsoft wants to get it right the very first time and that’s what is causing the delay. We also hear that Interactive Tiles may look quite different from how they appeared the very first time we saw them in the Interactive Tiles demo videos.

We also reported about Microsoft patenting some cool Live Tiles features one of which resembles to Interactive Tiles but still looks different.
