HMD patents Nokia 3, Nokia 5 & Nokia 6 designs in Europe

HMD, the Finnish firm responsible for bringing Nokia Android smartphones to market launched Nokia 3, 5 and 6 globally at MWC 2017. Now one thing that has been really appreciated about these three smartphones are their premium and robust industrial design. While Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 boast of Metal Uni-body Design, Nokia 3 looks beautiful in sculpted poly-carbonate uni-body with metal frame.

Next step for any company with original design is obviously to protect the design IPR. HMD has now got designs of these three smartphones patented in Europe as entries at European Trademark authority EUIPO reveal.

This is certainly good news and also verifies that HMD is the force behind design of new Nokia Android Phones with help from Nokia Design team, as revealed by CEO Suri.

Nokia 6 is the only available smartphone out of the three in market (China and Taiwan) and its has been hailed as one of the most durable smartphones ever by reviewers.
