HMD has sent media invites for a big “new phones” event in Russia. The invitation for the May 29 event has text in Russian that translates to “Dear friends. We invite you to worldwide premiere new Nokia phones.”.
This is interesting as “the worldwide premiere” should mean much more than the already announced 2018 Nokia smartphones/phones range. Most of the launched 2018 Nokia phones are already available in Russia barring Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 8110 4G.
Another very important point to note is that entire top management of HMD including CEO, CMO and CPO will attend this event (reveals the invite). So, may be we are looking at the probable launch of Nokia 2, 3 and 5 2018 successors.
We recently reported about three unknown Nokia phones TA-1075, TA-1105 & TA-1116 appearing in Russian certification. We already heard from HMD CMO Pekka Rentala that Nokia 2, 3 and 5 successors are real and incoming and recently we saw Nokia 3.1 aka 3 2018 appearing for the very first time anywhere.
