HMD has got the “PureView” trademark back from Microsoft in the latest renewal of one of the most well-known Nokia trademarks. The last Nokia trademark, which HMD renewed and started using it for covers was Nokia Xpress-On.
So, we can keep our hopes high about PureView making a comeback on a upcoming Nokia smartphones. Will Nokia 9 with a rumored Penta-lens camera will be a PureView device? That only time can tell, but now after owning PureView HMD can certainly make use of it.
HMD has also registered a new trademark of its own. Dual-Sight aka Bothie is a feature that HMD has popularized on its mid-range to high-end smartphones.
