Google Photos Android app to get manual face tags, timestamp edits & other cool features

Some cool features are on the update roadmap of the Google Photos Android app. The Google Photos is the default photo app for all Android smartphones with stock Android including Android One smartphones like Nokia.

The Product lead for Google Photos has revealed many cool features coming to Google Photos in a Twitter conversation, though a definitive timeline for the arrival of these features was not revealed.

It will allow tagging faces manually,

You would soon be able to edit the timestamps of the photos.

Deleting photos while browsing an album will be possible soon.

Soon search for newly added photos just like you can do on the web version.
